Jennifer is a Director at the Australian Bureau of Statistics, where she leads a section responsible for providing monthly overseas arrivals and departures statistics, producing Net Overseas Migration (NOM) estimates, and producing data to inform migrant settlement outcomes. With over 30 years of experience at the ABS in Social Statistics, Jennifer has a wealth of expertise in developing population-based surveys and leveraging insights from administrative systems through data linkage.
Jennifer was a key lead in the pioneering ABS data integration projects which resulting in the two flagship products: the Australian Census Migrants Integrated Dataset (ACMID) and the Australia Temporary Entrant Integrated Dataset (ACTEID). These projects filled critical data gaps and significantly expanded data availability for both permanent and temporary visa holders. This data has been crucial for evidence based migrant policy development and evaluation.
